Liability for Loss

In any unfortunate event of loss that is due to our intentional act or delay in executing services, you may be considered eligible for compensation as mentioned in Clause 9.4.

Fees

You won’t be charged unless you decide or choose not to proceed with a new supplier after reaching an agreement to a contract. In such cases, we may impose an administration fee.

Commission

Our revenue comes from commissions paid by suppliers. Our rates already include our commission, so you don't have to make any additional payments. We may also receive additional payments from suppliers based on the overall size and profitability of the accounts or new plans. We are committed to openly sharing information and will disclose commission amounts upon request from our customers.

Contract Arrangement

We will negotiate contracts based on the information you provide us. It’s your own responsibility to ensure that all the information is 100% correct, complete, and up-to-date. Any appropriate revisions or modifications must be communicated promptly to prevent delays or rejections by the supplier.

Our team of experts is here to address your questions and concerns. If you believe an incident hasn’t been dealt with successfully or satisfactorily, please contact us. We value your input and do our best to rectify any shortcomings or service failures.

Application of Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Utility4Business. They take precedence over any other terms unless explicitly mutually agreed upon in writing by us.

Subscription to Services

To access our services, you must register via our website or call us. We also reserve the right to decline your request to register. Our customers and consumers must:

• Operate within the UK.
• Be at least 18 years old if a sole trader.
• Meet our credit score criteria.
• Provide necessary information for our services.

Provision of Services

• Price Comparison Service: We proactively work to offer affordable price comparisons and provide you with real-time price estimates from suppliers. Terms and the validity period of the estimates may vary depending on the supplier.
• Do It for You Service: By selecting this service, you authorise us to come to an agreement and secure new supply contracts at the most economical rates. This service can be terminated, discontinued, or suspended as per the contract terms.
• Contract Cancellation Administration Fee: If you ultimately decide not to proceed with a supplier after our services, an administrative fee including VAT may be charged.
• Renewal Service: Make an appointment with us no later than 15 days (about 2 weeks) before the last day of your contract termination notice to repeat the price comparison service.
• Supplier Direct Contract: Signing a contract with a supplier implies a direct contractual relationship that exists between you and the supplier. We are not responsible for any transactions or arrangements between you and suppliers.

Charges

Our services are offered at no additional cost, except as specified in Clause 4.18. We are provided with monetary compensation in the form of a commission from the suppliers that is based on estimated consumption. We may also be awarded some extra monetary rewards for certain initiatives that we undertake. You may inquire us for commission details by emailing your customer ID.

Charges

You agree to:

• Cooperate with the suppliers and share accurate information in a timely manner.
• Accept and adhere to these terms and any associated supplier terms and conditions.
• Keep your details confidential, including username, password, account number, etc., and notify us of any unauthorised activity.

Intellectual Property Rights

All patents and other intellectual property rights related to our services, information, materials, and digital content will remain our exclusive property or that of our licensors.

Termination

We unconditionally reserve the right to terminate or suspend your services if you fail to comply with these terms or engage in fraudulent activities. You agree to indemnify us against any claims resulting from your use of our services.

Limitations of Liability

Providing great services at affordable rates is our top priority, but we are not responsible for any failures, delays, or errors that are caused by third-party suppliers. Our liability for any direct financial loss is limited, as specified in Clause 9.4.

Data Protection

Your data will be used and processed in strict accordance with our privacy policy. We may conduct inquiries into your supply details to provide price estimations or lead to a contract or possibly a transfer.

Majesty's Force

We are not subject to liability for any failure to comply with our obligations due to circumstances that are beyond our reasonable control, such as strike-related events, natural phenomena, or regulatory changes in the marketplace.

No Waiver

Failure to comply with any right in a timely manner does not qualify as a waiver of that right unless explicitly acknowledged in writing.

Severability

If any of the provisions is identified as invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will be omitted, and the remaining terms and conditions will remain effective.

Third-Party Rights

These terms do not grant any legal rights to third parties to comply with any terms and conditions, except as specified.

Transfer of Rights and Obligations

You may not assign or otherwise transfer these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations at any point in time.

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between us and take precedence over any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
